Phil Greyner & Ray Storey set up Glasscraft together in the 1980’s,
Phil said: “I started work as an apprentice scientific glassblower making items such as test tubes, coils, condensers, flasks which would be used in laboratories.”
Precision was key with this kind of glasswork, so it was great experience for what was to come. Eventually, Ray & Phil went their separate ways as they were beginning to specialise in different areas of miniatures.
Phil retired in 2023. His Cranberryware decorative glass is probably what he is best known for..
